Meet Aaron

In the 20 years I’ve worked in the youth ministry and the 15 in education, I’ve met so many adolescents searching for something. I have seen them try everything under the sun to fill the void in their hearts. My novel: “Of Peace and Precipitation” is inspired by the countless students I have been able to meet and to the best of my ability show the love of God.

I have a great deal of empathy towards students and especially students in difficult circumstances. In order to support my youth ministry habit, I have been blessed with teaching English language learners for the past 10 years in the city of Cleveland (It was a good idea to double major in Youth Ministry and Education). I am also currently working on another book about the incredible stories of working with my refugee students, and have written several children’s books.

While my novel is more dealing with learning disabilities than language deficiencies, people struggling to fit in and find hope are universal.

I have an incredible wife who encourages me to achieve my goals, and three wonderful children who keep me motivated. We are active at Journey Church in Cleveland. My wife is a songwriter and worship leader there. She also owns a chic cake shop in the Cleveland area. I love being a youth minister and even appreciate my online youth small group when circumstances require online ministry. I also enjoy teaching as an Adjunct ESL Professor. I write and encourage to illustrate Jesus’ outlandish love.
